The artist Mia Underwood shares her inspiration for this piece:

'I wanted to make a shrine as a reminder, in this modern, crazy world, to be thankful for the natural world from which we all came, to live in the present moment, and to have gratitude for what we have.

On the left-hand side, we have the Sun God Ra. In Ancient Egyptian belief, Ra was the creator of the universe, the moon, and the giver of life and light.

On the right-hand side, Moon Dog, the "Viking of New York," a well-known musician, represents the moon, music, water, and surrender to emotions.'
